Albert Lewis Luke Hollingsworth Albert Lewis Luke Hollingsworth, 63, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Todd County, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the Lakeland Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Hollingsworth was born July 9, 1942 in Todd County to the late John Tom and Eura Salmon Hollingsworth. He was a car salesman and a member of the Polk City Baptist Church and the Gideons of Auburdale, Fla. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran, having served on the USS Boxer.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hollingsworth was preceded in death by three sisters, Ann Lynch, Maria Wells and Elizabeth Latham; and two brothers, Thomas Hollingsworth and John Hollingsworth.
Funeral services were Sunday, June 4 at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton with burial following in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Hollingsworth is survived by his wife, Terressa Hollingsworth or Lakeland, Fla.; his stepson, Daniel Webb of Lakeland, Fla.; his step-daughters, Kellie Collins of Lakeland, Fla., and Leslie Rush of Birmingham, Ala.; his brother, Henry Hollingsworth of Elkton; and his sisters, Nancy Blackford of Russellville and Linda Hollis of Hopkinsville.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Gideons International.
